Sooooooooooo this was pretty much Total Recall: Just a moment while we sign you in to your Goodreads account. I didn’t hate it but I would give it 2 and a half stars if I could. But on the other hand, extended Socratic dialogue does not fully exploit sequential art, which is better suited to iconic than to dramatic narrative. It’s not great but is good. He appears to have a simple life but his gut tells him that something is godfalk quite right about this perfect world.
Overall a good read, and very short.

Tomo especial de Norma Editorial. His powers are gone but he sense something isn’t right, and then everything goes to hell. Beware, you are proposing to add brand new pages to the wiki along with your edits. Jul 30, M rated it it was ok. The soldier blond bay gdfall is not well established at all and is just thrown in there to resolve the plot.
Might have enjoyed this more if I was more familiar with everything that had happened before in this superman timeline, but whatever.
May 17, Andrew rated it it was ok Shelves: Superman’s trip from distopia to reality seems stretched and unbelievable and his efforts to correct the wrongs come as efforts of a spoiled brat to get what he wants in the end.
This story arc is written by Michael Turner and Joe Kelly. In that sense, the title’s immediately preceding arc, Godfall, was contrary to the appearance of its covers a superior exploration of the Superman-as-Christ allegory, cleverly depicting a condescension resembling the incarnation of God in human form. A standard issue of a monthly comic book, if you take out the ads, contains 22 pages of story artwork.
It has its flaws — you feel something missing between panels on occasion — but they are overshadowed by how much is accomplished in just 96 pages. Somehow, the Man of Steel finds himself on his native world of Krypton. However, godfalll fact that we get to see Kandor after so long is nice, and the way Kandorians’ worldview as their world is just encased in a tiny glass thing has distorted our world and Superman into some grandiose religion or something kept me interested for about three pages.
All the character’s motivations are either forced, cliche, or just nonexistent, which made it so I didn’t really care about any of the characters or events and the xuperman thing just felt silly.

That is until the day some Akira-type biker gangs try killing him and he discovers he has unknown supemran — superpowers! The true highlight of this mini-mystery is Turner’s art, and his unique take on Superman’s costume.
He accidentally hurts some people by using them and becomes a wanted fugitive.
